MEET THE FOUNDERS
Founded in 1969 by Doug & Shirley Scott
Scott Pools, Inc. was founded in 1969 by Doug and Shirley Scott. Built on hard work, craftsmanship, and pride in a job well done, the company earned recognition for quality and created lasting pools that families continue to enjoy today. Over the years, Doug and Shirley not only established the business but also passed down their values and knowledge to their children and grandchildren.
Their son, Clay Scott, began building pools at just 13 years old and later continued the family legacy alongside his wife, Joni, who has served the company in many roles. In 2008, Scott Pools transitioned from pool construction to specializing in luxury service and pool care. Today, Clay operates the company alongside his children, Jami and Reid, who are third-generation owners committed to carrying the company forward.
While Scott Pools remains family-owned, its greatest strength is its team. From employees who have been with us for decades to those just beginning their journey, our staff works together with professionalism, integrity, and pride. The “family” in our family business extends far beyond the last name – it includes the dedicated individuals who serve our customers every day.
